No One Runs Alone

So, a few months ago, a co-worker of mine told me about this thing she does. This thing, she said, involves running at 5:30 in the morning, three and sometimes 4 mornings a week, through the streets of Baltimore city, with a group of men and women who become your people, your team...your family. Something I was not expecting and something that would cause me to question just about everything. I clearly heard Him ask me to get off of social media. So, I’m thinking this just means taking a break- that temporary deactivation button until you “accidentally” log back on because you need to get information about an event that can obviously only be found on Facebook. Nope, He said permanently delete. Come on God, You know it’s impossible to actually delete Facebook right? Or at least that’s what I thought. So I did som

So Much Better, Your Way

You go before I know That You've gone to win my war You come back with the head of my enemy You come back and You call it my victory You go before I know That You've gone to win my war Your love becomes my greatest defense It leads me from the dry wilderness All I did was praise All I did was worship All I did was bow down All I did was stay still Hallelujah, You have saved me So much better Your way Hallelujah, great Defender So much better Your way You know before I do Where my heart can seek to find Your truth Your mercy is the shade I'm living in You restore my faith and hope again All I did was praise All I did was worship All I did was bow down All I did was stay still Hallelujah, You have saved me So much better Your way Hallelujah, great Defender So much better Your way This song had been on my heart for months leading up to June, and I didn’t think much about it. I just thought I really li
